How to send flowers to other provinces of Argentina

Let's start with what leaves us out: we deliver in Buenos Aires City and Greater Buenos Aires. If you need to send flowers to Córdoba, Mendoza, Salta or Bariloche, we are not the ones. We would rather say it in the first line than after you fill a cart.

How it really works

Fresh flowers do not travel long distances in a regular shipment. They do not survive the transit, there is no refrigerated logistics for an individual parcel, and they would arrive useless.

What sites offering "nationwide delivery" do is pass the order on to a local flower shop in the destination city, which makes the arrangement with what it has and delivers it. It is a legitimate model and it works: it is called flower relay (or wire service) and it has existed for decades. But it is worth knowing that you are paying two margins.

The three real options

1. Find a local flower shop at the destination and buy from it directly. It is the cheapest option and gives the best result: the person who makes it is the one who delivers it, and you have someone to hold accountable. Search Google for the name of the city and look at recent reviews with photos.
2. Use a national network or intermediary. More expensive and with less control over the result, but it solves the problem if you do not want to research.
3. Change the product. A gift that does travel by mail (chocolates, a decorative item, a well-packed succulent) arrives in better shape than a flower forced to travel 800 kilometers (about 500 miles).

What to check before paying on any site

• Whether the photo shows the actual product or a generic image from an international catalog. It is the clearest sign.
• Whether it says explicitly which flower shop delivers or never makes it clear.
• Recent reviews with customer photos, not undated testimonials.
• A phone number or WhatsApp that actually answers before you buy. Try it.
• The policy if delivery fails. At a distance is where it happens most.
